The Quinton Medical Seawater Products are the result of our continuous commitment to quality and R&D.
From our biotechnological laboratory and in collaboration with university institutions we carry out research of studies and clinical trials that allow us to guarantee new therapeutic applications for cold microfiltered seawater following the AQP protocol. We do this with the sole objective of maintaining René Quinton's exceptional legacy: Marine Therapy, which is still in use today.
How Do We Manufacture our Seawater Products?
Our "Advanced Quinton Protocol" is the only patented method of collecting, processing, and packaging seawater products that guarantees the preservation of the physico-chemical qualities of our raw material, as well as the correct elimination of contaminating agents such as heavy metals, pesticides, petroleum derivatives or micro plastics.
Place of Extraction
We extract seawater, our primary raw material, in areas far from any flow of man-made pollution. We extract at a approximate distance of 10 nautical miles from the coast and at a depth of 30 m, at points of high mineral richness due to the proliferation of phytoplankton and zooplankton.
Cold Microfiltration
As soon as it arrives at our laboratories, our raw material undergoes a double cold microfiltration process in a clean room to eliminate the microorganism content. In this way, we preserve the natural qualities and obtain seawater that is fit for human consumption.
Isotonisation
We dilute the microfiltered seawater with spring water. In this way, we reduce its concentration in mineral salts, obtaining an isotonic solution, which we adjust according to its intended use. .
Checks and Inspections
Throughout the entire production and packaging process, we subject our raw material to constant physical, physico-chemical and biological checks, verifying over 100 standards that guarantee the maximum quality and safety for the consumption of all our seawater products.
